asked the Postmaster-General (1) what is the estimated value of letters and parcels lost or stolen whilst in the hands of the Post Office in each of the past five years;

(2) how much compensation has been paid in each of the past five years for letters and parcels lost or stolen whilst in the hands of the Post Office.
