§ Mr. JayI have no comprehensive information about all the new jobs which have been created. However, estimates provided by applicants for industrial development certificates in North Lanarkshire show that 3,700 and 2,900 jobs were likely to arise from projects completed in 1964 and 1965 respectively; and that a further 6,000 jobs in the next three years is likely to be provided by projects approved but not yet complete.
