HC Deb 04 May 1966 vol 727 c112W
55. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Minister of Transport how her policy that unprofitable lines will not necessarily be closed will affect the Boston-Grimsby line; if Louth Station will be kept open for passenger traffic; and if she will make a statement.

Mr. John Morris

The Railways Board has not yet completed the revision of its proposals for closing passenger services in East Lincolnshire to which my right hon. Friend referred in her Answer of 21st February. Until it has done so and the Transport Users Consultative Committee has reported to her on hardship she cannot say what her decision will be.
