§ Mr. James Hamiltonasked the President of the Board of Trade what factories have been built on the Bellshill industrial estate; what factories are likely to be built in the next two years; and how many new jobs will arise.
§ Mr. JayThree factories are now being built on the Government's Bellshill industrial estate. These are two advance factories of 12,500 sq. ft. and 40,000 sq. ft. respectively, and a 41,000 sq. ft. factory for Wheway Watson & McLean Ltd.; the smaller advance factory is expected to be completed by September and the other 137W two factories by October. It is hoped that when these three factories are occupied they will provide about 350 jobs.
