Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the Secretary of State for Scotland by how much the total expenditure on maintenance and minor improvements for roads in Scotland will have been reduced in the current financial year as a result of the Government's economic measures.
§ Mr. RossThe reduction, if any, will be marginal since the Government's economy measures applied only to areas outside development districts, and there to individual minor improvement schemes costing £25,000 or over which authorities were able to defer.
