§ Mrs. HartThis longstanding feature of the salaries regulations arises from past concessions given for different reasons to men who entered training before 1926 and to women who did so before 1920. These reasons do not apply to women who entered training after 1920. The annual cost of extending the concession to these women might be as much as £500,000.
