HC Deb 09 March 1966 vol 725 c530W
Brigadier Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for Defence why chargemen of shipwrights were not granted the extra two-and-a-half days leave with pay when this concession was granted to others in the Royal Dockyards.

Mr. J. P. W. Mallalieu

This concession applied to men who get only two weeks' paid leave. Chargemen get three weeks' paid leave.
