asked the Minister of Aviation if he will hold discussions with a view to making Royal Air Force Station, Shawbury, available to civil aircraft for use as a civil airport with direct domestic and continental flights.

The possibility of using Royal Air Force Station, Shawbury, for scheduled civil air services is already under discussion with the Ministry of Defence.
