Above Flight Level 290 (29,000 ft.) a minimum lateral separa546W tion of 90 nautical miles is provided in accordance with the decision of the International Civil Aviation Organisation; below that level a minimum separation of 120 nautical miles is provided for jet aircraft asking for this increased separation.
