§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuThe seventh County Class guided missile destroyer was laid down in January and the eighth will be laid down a few days from now. Two more Leander Class frigates will be laid down later in the year. We plan to order the first Type 82 guided missile destroyer, more Leander Class ships, and a nuclear-powered fleet submarine; and further orders are under consideration.
