§ Mr. Shinwellasked the Secretary of State for Defence to what use the infrastructure provisions in France will be put; and what compensation Her Majesty's Government will receive on the basis of the infrastructure remaining in France.
§ Mr. HealeyWe do not yet know to what extent N.A.T.O. will be able to continue to make use of infrastructure facilities in France. At the recent Ministerial meeting in Brussels it was agreed that French participation in infrastructure was one of the questions to be discussed by the Permanent Council. It would be premature at this stage to talk about compensation.
