HC Deb 29 July 1966 vol 732 cc341-2W
Mr. Chichester-Clark

asked the Minister of Aviation whether he will now take steps to ensure that alternative applications for licences by competitors on United Kingdom domestic' air routes are considered.

Mr. Mulley

Under the existing licensing legislation any British airline is entitled to apply to the Air Transport Licensing Board for such a licence. All such applications are considered on their merits, in the light of the factors set out in Section 2 of the Civil Aviation (Licensing) Act, 1960.
