§ 80. Mr. Corfieldasked the Minister of Overseas Development if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details of overseas aid which is tied to the purchase of goods from the United Kingdom, and the extent to which the countries concerned are taking advantage of the facilities available.
§ Mr. GreenwoodI would refer the hon. Member to my reply of 3rd May to the hon. Member for Banff (Mr. Baker). In 1965 disbursements of fully tied financial aid exceeded £54 million.
Following is a list of tied loans formally agreed this year. Overseas countries, in general, take full advantage of the loan facilities offered.

§ 81. Sir C. Taylorasked the Minister of Overseas Development how much has been lent or given, interest free, or bearing interest, to the developing countries in the last 21 months and how much to countries not within the Commonwealth during the same period.
§ Mr. GreenwoodFrom the 1st October, 1964, to the 31st March, 1966, the 331W latest date for which consolidated figures are available, we provided £260 million of aid, in various forms, to individual developing countries. £32 million of this amount was for countries outside the Commonwealth.
