Mr. Corfield

asked the Minister of Aviation if he will give an assurance that there will be no further reduction of British commitments to the European Launcher Development Organisation, arising out of Her Majesty's Government's new economic measures.

I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for South Angus (Mr. Bruce-Gardyne) on 11th July, 1966. The revised arrangements 1 then announced are not affected by the new economic measures.
