HC Deb 26 July 1966 vol 732 c227W
61. Mr. Nicholas Scott

asked the Minister of Labour upon which recommendations of the Working Party on the future of the Youth Employment Service action has been taken, and upon which action will be taken in the immediate future.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

There were forty recommendations in the Working Party's Report, many of them in general terms. Action has been started or is under consideration centrally and locally to follow up all these recommendations. As the Working Party recognised, such action is necessarily a continuing process and progress is being kept under review by the National Youth Employment Council.
