Mr. Onslow

asked the Prime Minister what effect the latest restrictions on public expenditure will have on co-operation with other European countries in aircraft development projects.

Mr. Mulley

I have been asked to reply. No change of policy is contemplated. As at present, any such projects will have to continue to find a place in the programme of public expenditure against other competing claims.
