asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what further progress has been made in establishing smokeless zones.

Between 1st November, 1965, and 30th June, 1966, 204 smoke control orders were made by local authorities in England, covering 318,375 premises, making a total of 2,185 orders and 2,949,194 premises. Figures for the period before 1st November, 1965, were given in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend on 29th November last.
