Beamishasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what understanding he reached with the New Zealand Government about the duration of the new conditions of entry to the United Kingdom for New Zealand farm products and for the renewal of these terms ; and to what extent, and in what ways, it will be necessary to modify the terms and the conditions if the United Kingdom should join the European Economic Community.

On the implications of these arrangements for British membership of the Common Market, I have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade has said on two previous occasions.
