asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what studies are being undertaken by his Department on the way in which horticulture in the United Kingdom will be affected by entry into the European Economic Community.

This is one of a number of subjects we keep under continuous review. We recognise that entry into the European Economic Community would present particular problems for the horticultural industry.
