§ Mr. MarshI invited Mr. King to join the National Coal Board because of his great experience of large-scale business. He is sixty-five; a director of the Bank of England and a member of the National Parks Commission. His salary as a part-time member of the Board is £1,000 per annum. The only expenses he is entitled to recover are those he incurs when travelling on the Board's business.
