asked the President of the Board of Trade when he will seek to amend the Bills of Sale and Moneylenders Acts.

I hope to propose as soon as the legislative programme permits an amendment to the Moneylenders Acts relating to the exemption of companiesbona fide carrying on the business of banking. I have no present intention of proposing amendments to the Bills of Sale Acts.
