§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsI have no evidence of any substantial drift of skilled workers from Carlisle and Cumberland. These areas will fall in the new Northern Development Area to be set up by the Industrial Development Bill at present before Parliament. Unfilled vacancies are considerably higher now for skilled engineering workers than 12 months ago.
