§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Technology if he will state the number of projects and the amount of the loans written off by the National Research Development Corporation for which he has, with the consent of the Treasury, remitted the Corporation's liability to repay the corresponding loan.
§ Mr. CousinsNone so far. We are at present reviewing with the Treasury and the Corporation which of the latter's transactions over the last 16 years call for retrospective application of the provision of Section 2 of the Development of Inventions Act, 1965. In accordance with subsection (7) of that Section, any remission given will in due course be recorded in the Corporation's annual report.
§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Technology for what projects and for what total of advances he has, with the consent of the Treasury, relieved the National Research Development Corporation of up to eight years' interest on advances made to the Corporation.
