§ Mr. PeartYes. The market was strengthened by the two support buying programmes undertaken by the Board earlier this season, but prices have recently declined. To put it beyond doubt that the Board have full control of the surplus, I have authorised them to buy a further quantity of potatoes. Particulars of this new buying programme are being announced by the Board today.
