§ 157. Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what types of leptospirosis have been identified in British cattle; what estimate has been made of the economic and other losses caused by this disease; and whether the Charolais cattle recently rejected were carriers of the same type of leptospirosis as is found in Great Britain.
§ Mr. PeartOnly one serotype of leptospira organism has been isolated in British cattle—L. icterohaemorrhagiae.
