asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what revisions he has made or intends to make to the figures relating to employment in the White Paper on the Scottish Economy 1965–70;

(2) whether he will now take action to bring up to date all the relevant forecasts in the White Paper on the Scottish Economy 1965–70, on lines similar to those to be undertaken to replace the forecasts in the National Plan.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will now issue a new White Paper on the Scottish Economy.

55. Mr. G. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will now start preparations for amendment of those sections of the White Paper on the Scottish Economy which are based upon the forecasts in the National Plan.

Mr. Ross

The broad strategy of development for Scotland outlined in the White Paper remains unchanged although some of the objectives may take a little longer to achieve.
