§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will institute a special medal for those policemen who show conspicuous gallantry and who risk their lives.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI do not consider that a new medal would afford more appropriate recognition than the existing gallantry awards made by The Queen to the police.
