§ Mr. Barnettasked the Minister of Social Security if she will arrange that maximum publicity be given for the arrangements available to employers for paying by cheque for National Insurance stamps.
§ Miss HerbisonAs I explained to my hon. Friend on 14th December, these facilities are already widely used. The recent sharp increase in applications does not suggest that there is a need for further publicity at present. I would be prepared to consider additional publicity on a suitable occasion in the future however if the circumstances warrant it.—[Vol. 738,c.124–5.]
