§ Mr. GreenwoodThe whole question of councilors speaking and voting on matters in which they have an interest is under review with the local authority associations. However, as an interim measure, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and I intend to 259W give general permission to councilor-tenants to speak and vote on housing matters. This permission will be issued shortly.
