§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Minister of Transport if she will give a general direction, in the public interest, to the British Waterways Board to make the canals under its control less dangerous to children.
§ Mr. John MorrisThe protection of children from this danger is a responsibility which the British Waterways Board shares with local authorities, riparian interests and parents. My right hon. Friend is satisfied that the Board is fully alive to it and that a general direction would be inappropriate.
