§ 57. Mr. Gurdenasked the Minister of Labour if he will take action to help those car transporter workers in Birmingham to return to work, in view of the fact that they are being prevented from so doing, and thereby ending the trade dispute, because of the discrimination practised by a local trade union official.
§ Mr. GunterI understand that two of the firms which had not previously reached a settlement with the union did so at the end of last week. This means that of the 15 firms in the Longbridge Group of Delivery Agents, 13 have now settled.
