§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proposals he has with regard to the reclamation of the two marshlands, Cors Fochno and Cors Caron, situate in Cardiganshire, to productive agriculture.
§ Mr. John MackieThe Gwynedd River Authority in its capacity as the Borth Internal Drainage Board is carrying out with the help of grants from our Ministry progressive drainage improvement works on Cors Fochno as land is required for agricultural production. As the area includes a site of special scientific interest the Board will continue to consult with the Nature Conservancy about further proposals.
We have no knowledge of proposals for works on Cors Caron.
