§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General why he will not freeze the increases in judicial salaries, in view of the Government's recent declaration and action in freezing wages and salary scales of workers whose proposed increases have been negotiated and agreed upon before that declaration.
§ The Attorney-GeneralJudicial salary increases were implemented long before 20th July, 1966 and thus do not fall within the terms of paragraph 20 of the White Paper on Prices and Incomes Standstill.
