§ Sir T. Beamish
asked the Minister of Health what is the estimated cost per bed of the proposed new Accident Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, 207W how this compares with the national average cost; what accounts for the difference between the two; and what cost advantages the Regional Hospital Board's proposals have over the alternative hospital plan suggested to him in the consultant's memorandum dated March, 1966 so far as the Accident Centre is concerned.
§ Mr. K. Robinson
The cost of an accident centre is not directly related to the number of beds to be provided. There is no basis of comparison between the costs of the Regional Hospital Board's proposals and those of an entirely different project.
