§ Mr. Milneasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will initiate discussions with the appropriate local authorities in Northumberland to consider the building of a conference hall in the Tynemouth-Blyth area, as a means of improving the facilities for attracting visitors and tourists, in view of the Government's recent actions in this field.
§ Mr. JayNo; but I should of course be pleased to hear from any part of the country about a local initiative for building a conference hall where this was expected to pay its way and to prove an attraction for overseas visitors.
