HC Deb 03 August 1966 vol 733 cc136-7W
118. Mr. Varley

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will consult with the Scottish police authorities with a view to making regulations on the supply to policemen who need to use cycles of more reflective material either on their uniforms or their cycles so as to minimise the danger to them when cycling in the hours of darkness.

Mr. Ross

Police authorities are already free to supply reflective material to cyclists if they consider it desirable. I see no need for Regulations.
