§ 12. Mr. Allaunasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will permit the granting of standard improvement grants to install baths, hot water and inside lavatories in houses needing them, without insisting on a period of existence of the house of 15 years.
§ Mr. MellishMy right hon. Friend has no power to do this under the present system. But he will consider the pro-10W posal in the course of his review of the existing legislation on improvement grants.
