§ 62. Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in considering his plan for a University of the Air, he will incorporate the technical facilities and teaching programmes already available at Strathclyde University for broadcasting education television.
§ Miss Jennie LeeA University of the Air would, as far as possible, consult and co-operate with existing educational agencies and institutions including the University of Strathclyde.
§ Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in his plan for a University of the Air, it is his intention to use the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Independent Television Authority or to use a new channel for educational purposes.
§ Miss Jennie LeeThe Government are now studying the technical, organisational and financial implications of a University of the Air. Until these investigations are completed no definite commitments can be made.
