§ 50. Mr. Danceasked the Postmaster-General if, in view of the financial situation of the British Broadcasting Corporation as stated by the Director General, 124W he will take steps to hold a committee of inquiry into the Corporation's finances.
§ Mr. BennI would refer the hon. Members to the statement I made to the House on 14th April in which I announced that, as part of its wider review of broadcasting policy, the Government would be giving further study to the problems of broadcasting finance, and asking the B.B.C. to co-operate with this review.
