§ Mr. Joseph SlaterMy right hon. Friend has no reason for thinking that the present maximum penalty for an indictable offence under Section 11(1,b) of the Post Office Act, 1953, is inadequate. But it is a question whether the maximum penalty to which a person is liable on summary conviction under the same Section of the Act should not be increased and this is under consideration.
