§ Mr. George ThomasMy right hon. and learned Friend is aware of the problems which can be caused by itinerant caravan-dwellers; but he does not consider that any satisfactory or lasting solution to these problems can be achieved by legislation enlarging or strengthening the powers available to the police under the general law.
