§ 53. Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce legislation to amend the law of guardianship to give, in the absence of any court order to the contrary, the mother of the child under 21 years of age guardianship rights equal to and concurrent with the rights of the father.
