§ Sir F. SoskiceI have had informal discussions on this subject but no formal meetings have been held. In accordance with established practice on a matter within the competence of the Northern Ireland Parliament, inquiry was made through official channels to ascertain whether the Northern Ireland Government wished our legislation to extend to Northern Ireland. They indicated that they did not.
