§ Mr. PeartYes. A detailed investigation into possible sources of infection has been made but we have not yet reached a final conclusion. It is not always possible in the case of a single outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in cattle to establish the source of infection with any certainty, and it may be that in the final assessment of this case the origin will have to be classed as obscure.
