§ 60. Mrs. Joyce Butlerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what action he is taking to increase the provision of Parliamentary draftsmen, so that future legislative programmes may be facilitated.
§ Mr. MacDermotTwo Assistant Counsel have been recruited to the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel since the beginning of the Session. Further vacancies in this grade are now being advertised.
An increase in establishment of the Scottish Parliamentary Draftsmen is under consideration.
