§ 35. Mr. Burden
asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he is aware of the inadequate facilities available for the education of deaf children; and what steps he is taking to improve them.
§ Mr. Denis Howell
There are sufficient places in day and boarding special schools for deaf children. The supply of teachers 203W of the deaf will be improved by the opening of a new course of training at London University in the autumn. My right hon. Friend is reviewing the need for further training places.
