asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether he will receive a deputation from the hon. Member for Tynemouth accompanied by Councillor Dan Smith, the North-East Regional Chairman for the National Regional Planning Council, to discuss financial proposals to assist the North-East.
