§ Q14. Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Prime Minister if, in view of the continuing escalation of the war in Vietnam resulting in increased civilian casualties, he will make new efforts to bring about a cease-fire.
§ The Prime MinisterAs I have already assured the House, we shall persevere in our efforts to get a lasting and robust peace in Vietnam. My right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary has been discussing in Washington what might be done to promote that purpose.
