§ Mr. K. RobinsonCurrent statistics of persons subject to the National Health Service (Superannuation) Regulations are not available but in 1962 the figure was 380,000. The Superannuation Scheme covers whole-time employees in the National Health Service over age 18, part-time specialists and medical and dental practitioners providing services under Part IV of the National Health Service Act. The total cost of employers' superannuation contributions to be met from the National Health Service Vote in 1964–65 is estimated to be £32,324,000.
