§ 87. Mrs. Lena Jegerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that, following a recent decision by a metropolitan magistrate in a case brought by the St. Pancras Borough Council under the Protection from Eviction Act, it appears that protection from eviction is not provided under the Act in cases where a tenancy has not been properly terminated; and whether he will introduce legislation to provide the protection originally intended by the Act.
